In her heartfelt post, she remembered the Amar Akbar Anthony star and expressed how he would have enjoyed witnessing the gripping cricket match between the two champion teams.
Following India’s commendable innings, accumulating 240 runs against Australia in the final match, Neetu took a moment during the break to engage with her audience on Instagram. Sharing a snapshot of watching the singing and dance performances by various artists, the Jugjugg Jeeyo actress expressed, “Watching today’s match with Rishi Ji would have been so electrifying. Miss him.”
Rishi Kapoor was known for his outspoken nature, as he fearlessly voiced his opinions on various matters until his passing on April 30, 2020, at the age of 67, due to leukemia. During his battle with the illness, he spent several months in New York for treatment. Throughout the process, Neetu Kapoor stood by his side as a pillar of strength.

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor got married on January 22, 1980. Together, the couple welcomed two children into their lives, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor.
