Adam Zampa One Wicket Away From History

Zampa is credited for Australia’s resurgence in this World Cup.

The spinner requires one more wicket to script history.

Adam Zampa is eyeing Muttiah Muralitharan’s long-standing record.

The Sri Lankan legend has taken most wickets in a single World Cup.

Muralitharan fetched 23 scalps in  10 games during the 2007 edition.

Zampa has claimed 22 wickets in  9 matches this year.

He can achieve the feat in the semis against South Africa on November 16.

Zampa has already surpassed Brad Hogg’s record.

His 22 wickets are the most by any Aussie spinner in a World Cup.

Hogg had taken 21 wickets in the 2007 edition.
