How To Make Shami Kebabs At Home

Collect all the ingredients – chicken, chana dal, cumin seeds, ginger, coriander leaves, eggs and spices.

Heat a pressure cooker for 2-3 minutes. Add oil, cumin seeds and spices to it.

Now, add soaked chana dal and chicken to the mix.

Pour water (hot) into the pressure cooker and blend it properly.

After the chicken is cooked properly, transfer the mix into a jar.

Now, grind it. Make sure the paste is thick enough.

Take a portion of the paste and make small tikki.

You can bake them in an air fryer or use a non-stick pan to shallow fry.

Serve it hot with green chutney and onion salad.
